Job summary

Bajaj Finance Limited invites applications for a Branch Operations Lead at Talegaon Dabhade to drive overall branch performance, customer engagement, and the safekeeping of pledged securities in the vault.

Key tasks include field marketing of gold loan products, generating leads, coaching staff, ensuring audit/compliance, managing NPAs, and growing the branch through cross-sell of NCDs and gold coins.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree/Post-graduation Degree preferred.
• Previous experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management or client service preferred.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations and profitability.
• Drive/participate in field-marketing activities to improve brand visibility.
• Plan, conduct, and monitor field marketing to generate leads and growth.
• Engage customers for new acquisitions and retention of existing clients.
• Conduct valuation appraisal of gold ornaments pledged in branch per policy and audit.
• Joint custodian of vault with safekeeping of pledged securities.
• Keep NPAs under control through strong follow-ups for interest collections.
• Provide hiring, coaching, mentoring, and training to employees with timely feedback.
• Maintain quality performance and prepare reports for growth of business in branch.
• Increase Gold Loan business and cross-sell other products like NCDs and Gold Coins.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations, performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive/participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility.
• Plan, conduct, and monitor the branch field level marketing activities to ensure a healthy pipeline of leads resulting in business conversion and branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions and retention of old customers.
• Conduct error-free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments pledged in branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and audit/compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections.
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch and for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring, and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and taking necessary actions for growth of business in branch.
• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCDs, Gold Coins sale, etc.
