Job summary

MedPlus in Hyderabad is seeking a dynamic professional to manage the day-to-day operations of our diagnostic center and ensure smooth functioning across all departments.

You will drive branch revenue and growth, develop strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, clinics, and corporate clients, and lead a team to deliver excellent patient service while maintaining compliance with SOPs and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the diagnostic center and ensure smooth functioning of all departments.
  • Drive branch revenue, profitability, patient footfall, and business growth in line with organizational targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, clinics, corporate clients, and referral partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities and implement local marketing, promotional activities, health camps, and corporate tie-ups.
  • Lead, supervise, motivate, and manage branch staff to achieve operational and business objectives.
  • Monitor staff productivity, attendance, performance, training, and manpower requirements.
  • Ensure excellent patient/customer service and handle complaints, feedback, and escalations effectively.
  • Monitor patient turnaround time (TAT), report delivery, billing, sample collection, and overall service quality.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality standards, safety protocols, infection-control procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support compliance with applicable NABL/NABH and other healthcare quality standards, wherever applicable.
  • Monitor inventory, reagents, consumables, equipment, and other operational requirements to ensure uninterrupted services.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance, calibration, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
  • Monitor branch expenses and implement effective cost-control measures without compromising quality.
  • Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly MIS/performance reports covering revenue, test volumes, TAT, expenses, and other KPIs.
  • Analyze branch performance, identify gaps, and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure proper documentation, patient confidentiality, biomedical waste management, and workplace safety.
