Jana Small Finance Bank in India is seeking a Branch Manager to lead the branch's operations, drive profitability, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires strong leadership, team management, and excellent customer service to deliver banking products effectively.

The ideal candidate will have 8–12 years in banking, including 3–5 years in branch leadership, with knowledge of CASA products and robust analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Graduation is mandatory.
• Banking domain knowledge including Liability CASA.
• 8+ years of banking experience including 3–5 years of branch management experience.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations and overall functioning of the branch.
• Meet branch targets and ensure adherence to guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Control costs and ensure profitability while complying with KYC/AML norms.
• Provide world-class service and meet customer needs through bank products.
• Supervise marketing, channel development, team development and revenue generation; ensure SOP compliance.
• Train staff on bank products and sales processes.
• Liaise with internal/external auditors and inspections; ensure compliance.
• Drive branch profitability with a strong track record in business and portfolio management.
• Maintain strong command on business and collection portfolio.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Managing Operations and overall functioning of the branch.
• Responsible for meeting the branch targets and adherence to all guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Cost Management and Cost effectiveness at the branch to ensure profitability, also ensure that the branch adheres to the Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti Money Laundering (AML) norms at all times.
• Ensuring that the customers get world class services and their needs are understood and met through the financial product offerings of the bank.
• Supervising Key Areas including Marketing, Business Channel Development, Team Development and Revenue Generation. Ensure all laid down system and processes are followed at the branch as stipulated by the Senior Management.
• Ensure that all staff are adequately trained on the Products of the Bank and Sales Processes.
• Responsible for dealing with External and Internal Auditors and inspections and compliance.
• Should have a track record of driving a branch towards higher profitability.
• Hold a strong command on Business and Collection Portfolio.

Desired Candidate Profile
