Job summary

Expertrons seeks an experienced BMC Remedy professional to lead development, administration, and integration of the Remedy ITSM Suite with focus on ITSM modules. You will meet customer requirements and drive additional functionality across the Remedy ITSM landscape.

Responsibilities include hands-on development, administration of Remedy tools, and integration with other applications. Strong ITIL/ITSM knowledge and CMDB expertise are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Remedy development experience in large ITSM environments.
• Strong knowledge of BMC Remedy architecture and Atrium CMDB.
• Experience with ARS API, CMDB, Web Services, LDAP, and SSO integrations.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on development and administration of BMC Remedy Helpdesk, Atrium CMDB, ITSM, ARS 8.x/9.x.
• Work on Smart IT and Smart Reporting; write efficient workflows.
• Maintain across Development, QA, Production environments; deploy changes.
• Configure foundation data, roles, permissions, and CMDB settings.

• Provide after-hours and weekend support as needed.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced BMC Remedy professional to lead the development, administration, and integration of the BMC Remedy IT Service Management Suite, with a strong focus on ITSM and associated modules. The candidate will be responsible for meeting customer requirements and driving implementation of additional functionality across the Remedy ITSM landscape.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on development and administration of BMC Remedy Helpdesk, Atrium CMDB, ITSM, ARS 8.x/9.x, and ITSM Suite Web Services (SOAP/REST)
• Work on Smart IT and Smart Reporting
• Write efficient workflows
• Perform maintenance across Development, QA, and Production environments
• Make configuration and administrative changes, including updates to foundation data, roles, permissions, and CMDB configurations
• Develop the CMDB to incorporate Configuration Items (CIs) into the federated BMC Common Data Model, ensuring relationships between CIs are fully mapped
• Propose and implement architecture for custom integrations
• Diagnose and remediate issues within Remedy ITSM Change and Service Management
• Resolve complex issues and implement projects at an advanced technical level
• Create/modify ARS objects for enhancements and bug fixes
• Provide after-hours and weekend support as needed
• Deploy BMC Remedy Asset Management and work with IMAC processes
• Integrate Remedy with other applications (e.g., Netcool, CRM, provisioning software) using Web Services and/or AIE
• Translate business requirements into technical design documents
• Prepare HLD, LLD, use case diagrams, and process documentation
• Create process, data, and workflow models, including third-party component integration

Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.E / BCA / MCA
• Minimum 6+ years of Remedy development experience with large-scale Remedy ITSM environments

Candidate Profile

• Strong understanding of BMC Remedy architecture and its components
• Good knowledge of the Common Data Model in BMC Atrium CMDB
• Solid grounding in ITSM and ITIL processes
• Experience with BMC ARS API, CMDB, E-mail Engine, Web Services, LDAP, and SSO integrations
• Exposure to BMC Analytics and BMC Atrium Orchestrator
• Experience with BMC Atrium Integration Engine and Atrium Integrator
• Comfortable working in production support environments requiring troubleshooting, RCA, and deployment ownership
