The BMC Professional services team sits at the intersection of technology and business. This team is responsible for our customers' success, ensuring the smooth implementation of BMC products. You will be the product expert guiding our customers through education, delivery, and implementation.

• As an experienced BMC AMI Cloud Senior Consultant (CS), you will be part of an acknowledged industry-leading team.
• You will assist clients with install, configuration, and conversion work for BMC products, working closely with various teams to meet customer requirements.
• You will perform technical hands-on software and configuration changes on customer systems.
• You will collaborate with the CA to translate logical designs into physical designs, contribute to detailed design documentation, and develop procedures and standards.
• You should be willing to work on projects during the customer's time zone.

To ensure your success, you will bring the following skills & experience:

Mandatory Skills

• 10+ years of mainframe technical experience as a z/OS Systems Programmer
• 7+ years in services or projects, preferably customer-facing in a professional consultative capacity
• Expertise in storage migrations with products like CA-Disk, CA-Vantage, CA-Faver, CA-Allocate, IBM DFSMShsm, IBM DFSMSdss, IBM DFSMSacs
• Expertise in tape migrations with products like CA-1, CA-TLMS, IBM DFSMSrmm
• Expertise in BMC storage-related products such as FDR/FDRABR, AMI Storage, Control-M/Tape
• Knowledge of BMC AMI Cloud solutions and S3 storage offerings
• Expertise in mainframe disk and tape storage hardware solutions (IBM/DELL)
• Experience developing REXX-based solutions for validation and migration
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus

Good To Have

• Consultative skills with customers and contractors, driving deliverables and priorities
• A self-starter capable of working independently and remotely, meeting deadlines with high-quality deliverables
• Willingness to mentor colleagues and promote best practices
• Experience across deployment lifecycle in multiple environments (Test, Dev, QA, Production)
• Success in building relationships with Sales, Support, Application Teams, and Engineering
• Experience creating and presenting disaster recovery solutions for pre-sales based on customer needs
