Job summary

Cyrix Health Care in Kerala seeks a proactive Senior Purchase Executive to manage procurement of second-hand medical devices, PO processing, vendor coordination, and logistics documentation.

You will work with Biomedical Engineering knowledge to evaluate parts compatibility, ensure ERP-driven workflows, and maintain accurate records across departments while meeting timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering (mandatory).
• Knowledge of second-hand medical device procurement, parts compatibility, and functional evaluation is a plus.
• Familiarity with procurement software and tools (ERP systems preferred).

Responsibilities

• Process and follow up on all purchase orders.
• Mail purchase orders to vendors and confirm acknowledgments.
• Liaise with vendors regarding payments, delivery timelines, and documentation.
• Coordinate with Delivery In charge and Zonal Managers for equipment delivery, field updates, and issue resolution.
• Ensure timely follow-up on invoices for items already dispatched to the field.
• Handle Service GRN (Goods Receipt Note) entries and validations.
• Receive original invoices and ensure prompt dispatch to the accounts department.
• Maintain accurate data on spare part movements, invoice tracking, and purchase records.
• Ensure systematic documentation of all procurement and logistics-related activities.
• Review and process purchase requests raised by internal departments.
• Raise and track purchase orders accordingly.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing purchase orders, vendor coordination, logistics queries, and ensuring smooth documentation and data flow across departments. A background in Biomedical Engineering is essential for understanding technical product requirements and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and follow up on all purchase orders.
• Mail purchase orders to vendors and confirm acknowledgments.
• Liaise with vendors regarding payments, delivery timelines, and documentation.
• Coordinate with DI (Delivery In charge) and Zonal Managers for equipment delivery, field updates, and issue resolution.
• Ensure timely follow-up on invoices for items already dispatched to the field.
• Handle Service GRN (Goods Receipt Note) entries and validations.
• Receive original invoices and ensure prompt dispatch to the accounts department.
• Manage the courier of spare parts and documents to and from the warehouse.
• Address and resolve queries raised by the logistics team or related to equipment movement.
• Assist in clearing discrepancies between field operations and documentation.
• Maintain accurate data on spare part movements, invoice tracking, and purchase records.
• Ensure systematic documentation of all procurement and logistics-related activities.
• Review and process purchase requests raised by internal departments.
• Raise and track purchase orders accordingly.

Educational & Technical Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering (mandatory)
