Job summary

Clearmedi Healthcare seeks a Biomedical Equipment Maintenance professional in Mysuru to oversee safety and maintenance of hospital patient care devices, and to coordinate the Biomedical Engineering Department’s activities in line with hospital policies and procedures.

The role includes hands-on support during equipment breakdowns, evaluating performance, training staff on safe device use, and driving compliant, efficient management of hospital equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that patient care instruments used throughout the hospital are safe.
• Effectively manage and coordinate activities of the Biomedical Engineering Department.
• Oversee evaluation, replacement, service and repair of complex biomedical patient equipment; administer policies and procedures.
• Provide necessary support to Doctors / Nursing Staff / Operators in terms with equipments usage.
• Direct all aspects of maintenance and repair of the equipment, as well as ongoing training and education of staff related to safe medical device uses and practices.
• Provide first hand support to the medical equipment’s during their breakdown and normal maintenance.
