• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders; monitor timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, vendor databases, and pricing information.
• Coordinate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs.
• Monitor inventory levels; coordinate with warehouse to avoid stockouts.
• Resolve supplier performance, quality, delivery, and invoice issues.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships; conduct periodic vendor evaluations.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses and savings reports for management.

• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse and stores to avoid stock shortages.
• Resolve issues related to supplier performance, quality, delivery, and invoice discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and conduct periodic vendor performance evaluations.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost analysis, and savings reports for management.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 6 years of experience in Biomedical Engineer
• Candidates with Biomedical Engineering experience in procurement or medical equipment purchasing will be preferred.

Required Skills:

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, documentation, and purchase order management.
• Experience in sourcing biomedical equipment or healthcare-related products is an added advantage.
