Job summary

Lifebridge Group is seeking a procurement professional to develop strategies aligned with hospital objectives, source and negotiate with suppliers, and oversee end-to-end procurement to ensure timely supply of essentials for healthcare delivery.

The role emphasizes policy enforcement, cross-functional collaboration, inventory management, vendor performance, and cost-saving initiatives within a regulatory healthcare framework, with data analytics guidance and leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in procurement, supply chain, business administration, commerce, or related field.
• 3-6 years of procurement experience, preferably in hospital/healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of vendor management, sourcing, negotiation, contracts, and inventory management.
• Experience in cost control, budgeting, procurement MIS, and process improvement.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/procurement systems.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare procurement standards and regulatory compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies aligned with hospital objectives to optimize cost effectiveness and quality of goods and services.
• Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers/vendors through competitive bidding processes and negotiation.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers/vendors to obtain favorable terms, pricing, and SLAs.
• Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and efficient supply chain management.
• Establish and enforce procurement policies, procedures, and controls to ensure regulatory compliance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Manage inventory levels, monitor stock levels, and ensure an adequate supply of essential items to support uninterrupted healthcare delivery.
• Monitor vendor performance, resolve issues, and maintain positive relationships with suppliers/vendors to foster collaboration and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and manage procurement budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize spending.
• Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks to minimize impact on patient care.
• Implement procurement technologies and systems to streamline processes, improve transparency, and enhance data analytics capabilities.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting procurement practices in the healthcare sector.
• Provide procurement team leadership, guidance, and training, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Prepare reports, metrics, and analyses on procurement performance, presenting findings to senior management as needed.

Preferred candidate profile :
