Job summary

Sai Sindhu Foundation is seeking a procurement professional to manage hospital supply chains, including medical equipment, consumables, medicines, and housekeeping supplies. The role requires evaluating vendors, negotiating terms, and ensuring timely material availability across multiple departments.

The candidate should have a Graduate or MBA in Supply Chain/Procurement with extensive hospital procurement experience, and the ability to lead a Purchase team while maintaining NABH quality

Qualifications

• Qualification: Graduate / MBA in Supply Chain, Procurement or related field.
• Experience: 58 years in hospital/healthcare procurement/Purchase.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of medical equipment, consumables, medicines, surgical items, housekeeping and general supplies.
• Identify and evaluate vendors, negotiate prices, and finalize purchase terms.
• Ensure timely availability of materials as per hospital requirements.
• Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements and process purchase orders.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Stores, Pharmacy, Biomedical, Clinical and Administration departments.
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure vendor performance.
• Ensure quality, cost-effectiveness and compliance with hospital procurement policies.
• Track deliveries, pending orders, replacements and material discrepancies.
• Maintain purchase records, MIS reports and documentation for NABH/quality audits.
• Lead and monitor the Purchase team and ensure efficient procurement operations.
