Job summary

Modern Vidya Niketan is seeking an experienced billing professional to manage end-to-end contractor and subcontractor billing for residential and commercial real estate projects in Gurugram. You will verify RA and final bills, review BOQs and rate analyses, and coordinate with project, QS, procurement, contracts and finance teams to ensure timely approvals.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree (MBA in Construction Management is a plus) with 8–12 years of construction billing

• Strong knowledge of contractor billing, RA bills, BOQ verification and project costing.
• Proficient in GST, TDS and construction contracts.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end contractor and subcontractor billing for residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate projects.
• Verify and certify RA (Running Account) Bills, final bills, and vendor invoices as per executed work and contractual terms.
• Review BOQs (Bill of Quantities), work orders, agreements, and rate analysis before processing bills.
• Coordinate with Project, Site Engineering, Quantity Surveying (QS), Procurement, Contracts, and Finance teams for timely bill verification and approval.
• Ensure accurate quantity verification based on site measurements, approved drawings, and work completion reports.
• Monitor project costs, budget utilization, and billing against project progress.
• Process contractor payments within defined timelines while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Maintain billing records, payment schedules, work orders, amendments, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare periodic MIS reports on billing status, project costs, pending bills, and budget variance.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering; MBA/PG in Construction Management is an added advantage.
• 8-12 years of experience in construction billing within the real estate/construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of Contractor Billing, RA Bills, BOQ Verification, Final Bills, Quantity Surveying, and Project Costing.
• Proficient in ERP software (FARVISION) and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and construction contracts.
• Strong analytical, communication, and team management skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
