• Billing & Transaction Processing
• Invoice Generation: Scan merchandise or record services to generate accurate bills/tax invoices using POS billing software or ERP systems.
• Payment Processing: Accept and process cash, UPI, credit/debit cards, and coupons securely.
• Cash Management: Issue accurate change, count cash floats at start and end of shifts, and maintain secure cash drawer operations.
• Daily Settlement and Reconciliation: Reconcile daily sales, card receipts, and digital transactions; report discrepancies.
• Returns & Refunds: Handle customer returns, order cancellations, and refund vouchers per billing policies.
• Front-Desk Interaction: Greet customers at checkout and address basic billing inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Transaction Processing

Payment Processing: Accept and process cash, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), credit/debit card transactions, and coupons securely.

Cash Management: Issue accurate change, count cash floats at the start and end of shifts, and maintain secure cash drawer operations.

Account Reconciliation & Customer Service

Daily Settlement: Reconcile total daily sales, card receipts, and digital transactions against system reports; report any cash discrepancies or shortages to the Store/Accounts Manager.

Returns & Refunds: Handle customer returns, order cancellations, and refund vouchers strictly according to company billing policies.

Front-Desk Interaction: Greet customers warmly at checkout, address basic billing inquiries, and ensure a smooth, prompt payment experience.
