• 1–3 years of experience in billing, preferably in logistics/warehousing/transport sector.
• Strong knowledge of GST, invoicing formats, and financial documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table preferred).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Good communication & coordination skills.

• Billing & Invoicing
• Prepare and generate customer invoices accurately and on time.
• Validate billing inputs received from operations, warehouse, transport, and sales teams.
• Ensure billing is done as per client contracts, rate cards, and agreements.
• Reconcile billing data before invoice generation.
• Documentation & Record Management
• Maintain all billing documents, supporting files, and approval records.
• Update billing trackers, MIS, and maintain invoice registers.
• Send invoices to clients through email, courier, or online portals.
• Coordination & Follow-Up
• Coordinate with internal departments (Operations, Sales, Finance) for billing-related inputs.
• Follow up with clients for invoice receipt acknowledgment.
• Coordinate with the finance team regarding payments and outstanding invoices.
• Billing Accuracy & Audit
• Cross-check rate applicability, taxes, discounts, and additional charges.
• Support internal auditing and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Assist in monthly closing and revenue reconciliation.
• Compliance & Systems
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory billing requirements.
• Work on ERP/Excel/Software for generating billing MIS and reports.
