Upalaksh Job Recruitment is seeking a Contractor Measurement & Billing Engineer to verify site measurements, prepare contractor RA and final bills, and support project cost control in line with drawings, BOQs, and contract terms.

The role requires reading GFC drawings, applying contract rates, and coordinating with project teams to ensure timely bill approvals and compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 26 years of experience in contractor measurement, billing, or quantity surveying.
• Experience in Fire Fighting, Plumbing, MEP, or Construction Projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measure and verify executed work at project sites.
• Prepare and certify Contractor RA Bills and Final Bills.
• Verify quantities with approved drawings, BOQs, and work orders.
• Maintain Measurement Books (MB) and billing documentation.
• Perform quantity reconciliation and identify billing discrepancies.
• Apply contract rates, approved variations, and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, recoveries).
• Coordinate with Project, Accounts, Procurement, and Site teams for bill approvals.
• Ensure compliance with contract conditions, company SOPs, and project timelines.

Job Summary

The Contractor Measurement & Billing Engineer is responsible for verifying site measurements, preparing contractor RA and final bills, ensuring accurate quantity verification, maintaining billing records, and supporting project cost control in accordance with approved drawings, BOQs, and contract terms.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure and verify executed work at project sites.
• Prepare and certify Contractor RA Bills and Final Bills.
• Verify quantities with approved drawings, BOQs, and work orders.
• Maintain Measurement Books (MB) and billing documentation.
• Perform quantity reconciliation and identify billing discrepancies.

• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
