Shree Sai Construction Co invites a detail oriented Billing Engineer to manage quantity estimation, site measurements, RA/final bills, and related billing tasks across site and office. You will verify quantities on site, prepare measurement sheets and bill abstracts, coordinate with site engineers and clients, and ensure timely, accurate invoices with documentation.

The role requires 5–10 years in civil billing, knowledge of BOQ, RA bills, rate analysis and MS Excel; AutoCAD knowledge preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering is required.
• Approx. 5–10 years of relevant civil construction billing and quantity surveying experience.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ, RA bills, final bills, measurement books, quantity calculations, and reconciliation.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and submit RA bills, final bills, subcontractor bills, and client invoices.
• Study BOQs, work orders, tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contract conditions.
• Calculate quantities of completed civil works including earthwork, roadwork, concrete, drainage, pipelines.

• Coordinate with Site Engineers, surveyors, PMs, and client reps for joint measurements.

• Maintain BOQ vs executed quantity records and monitor item-wise progress.
• Prepare extra item statements, deviation statements, variation claims, and rate analyses for non-BOQ items.
• Assist in price escalation claims, idle machinery claims, hindrance records, and other contractual claims.
• Verify subcontractor bills against measurements, rates, and site records.
• Maintain client certifications, deductions, recoveries, advances, retention, taxes, and payments.
• Coordinate with accounts for invoice submission, payment follow-up, and reconciliation.
• Ensure bills are supported by measurements, test reports, challans, photographs, approvals, and docs.
• Maintain project-wise billing trackers, payment status, and outstanding bill statements.
• Review discrepancies between site records, BOQ quantities, and client measurements and resolve with coordination.
• Ensure timely submission of accurate bills to minimize delays.

Role & Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for a detail oriented Billing Engineer with strong practical knowledge of quantity estimation, site measurements, BOQ analysis, RA bills, and final billing. This is a site-and-office role. The candidate must visit project sites to verify actual work quantities, coordinate with Site Engineers and client representatives, and prepare accurate bills and supporting documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit Running Account (RA) bills, final bills, subcontractor bills, and client invoices as per contractual requirements.
• Study BOQs, work orders, tender documents, approved drawings, specifications, and contract conditions.
• Calculate quantities of completed civil works, including earthwork, excavation, filling, embankment, roadwork, concrete, drainage, pipelines, and other applicable items.
• Visit project sites regularly to verify actual measurements, work progress, levels, and quantities.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, surveyors, Project Managers, and client representatives for joint measurements and quantity certification.
• Prepare measurement sheets, abstract sheets, quantity statements, reconciliation statements, and supporting bill documents.
• Maintain BOQ versus executed quantity records and monitor item-wise progress and balance quantities.
• Prepare extra item statements, deviation statements, variation claims, and rate analysis for non-BOQ items.
• Assist in preparing price escalation claims, idle machinery claims, hindrance records, and other contractual claims when applicable.
• Verify subcontractor bills against actual measurements, agreed rates, work orders, and site records.
• Maintain records of client certifications, deductions, recoveries, advances, retention money, taxes, and pending payments.
• Coordinate with the accounts team for invoice submission, payment follow-up, and reconciliation of certified amounts.
• Ensure all bills are supported by required measurements, test reports, challans, photographs, approvals, and other contractual documents.
• Maintain project wise billing trackers, payment status reports, and outstanding bill statements.
• Review discrepancies between site records, BOQ quantities, and client measurements and resolve them through proper coordination.
• Ensure timely submission of accurate bills to minimize billing delays and payment hold-ups.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Approximately 5-10 years of relevant experience in civil construction billing and quantity surveying.
• Strong practical knowledge of BOQ, RA bills, final bills, measurement books, quantity calculations, and reconciliation.
• Experience in PWD, government infrastructure projects, EPC contracts, or industrial civil works will be preferred.
• Knowledge of Maharashtra PWD SSR, relevant DSR/SSR schedules, contractual rates, and rate analysis will be an advantage.
• Ability to read civil drawings, calculate quantities, and independently prepare measurement sheets and bill abstracts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel is essential; working knowledge of AutoCAD and billing software is preferred.
• Familiarity with GST invoice documentation, statutory deductions, retention, advances, and bill certification procedures.
• Must be willing to visit project sites for measurements and subsequently prepare bills and reports from the office.
• Strong numerical accuracy, documentation skills, follow-up ability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate professionally with clients, consultants, site teams, and accounts personnel.
