Qualifications

• Experience in billing, quantity surveying, estimation, or construction.
• Experience in roofing industry is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Able to read drawings and calculate quantities.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Must have a two-wheeler and valid driving licence.
• Willing to travel extensively to project sites.
• Comfortable at office and construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare running bills, final bills, RA bills, and other project-related bills.
• Submit bills with supporting documents to clients.
• Maintain records of submitted bills, approvals, deductions, and payments.
• Visit project sites for measurements and quantity verification.
• Take site measurements and prepare BOQs.
• Verify quantities per drawings and work progress.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, clients, contractors, and project teams regarding billing and measurements.
• Maintain documentation of site measurements, work progress, and billing records.
• Assist in preparing estimates and quotations.
• Conduct site visits for roofing work requirements and data collection.
• Visit architects, contractors, builders, dealers, and potential clients for marketing and business-development activities.
• Generate leads and support the sales team through site/market visits.
• Travel to different project locations as required for site-related and marketing work.

Job Profile

We are looking for a Billing Engineer to join our team in the roofing industry. The candidate will be responsible for preparation and submission of project bills, site measurements, quantity take-offs, site visits, documentation, and coordination with clients and site teams.

The role involves regular travel to project sites, so the candidate should be willing to travel for work.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare running bills, final bills, RA bills, and other project-related bills.
• Submit bills to clients along with all required supporting documents.
• Maintain proper records of submitted bills, approvals, deductions, and payments.
• Visit project sites regularly for measurements and quantity verification.
• Take accurate site measurements and prepare quantity take-offs / BOQs.
• Verify executed quantities as per drawings, site conditions, and work progress.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, clients, contractors, and project teams regarding billing and measurements.
• Maintain proper documentation of site measurements, work progress, and billing records.
• Assist in preparing estimates and quotations wherever required.
• Conduct site visits for checking roofing work requirements and collecting project details.
• Visit architects, contractors, builders, dealers, and potential clients for marketing and business-development activities when required.

Requirements

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification.
• Experience in billing, quantity surveying, estimation, or construction will be preferred.
• Experience in the roofing industry will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Should be able to understand drawings and calculate quantities.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Must have a two-wheeler and a valid driving licence.
• Should be willing to travel extensively to project sites.
• Should be comfortable working both in the office and at construction sites.
• Candidates with good knowledge of Hindi, Marathi, and English will be preferred.

Travel & Reimbursement

• Travel, food, and petrol expenses for official work will be reimbursed as per company policy.
• Regular site and market visits will be part of the job.

Preferred Candidate

A candidate who is practical, responsible, detail-oriented, and comfortable with both billing work and field/site work will be preferred.
