Job summary

Shree Sai Construction Co is seeking a Billing Engineer for civil construction projects. You will prepare RA bills, measure completed work, and reconcile quantities against BOQ and drawings.

You will prepare client and subcontractor bills, maintain documentation, and coordinate with site engineers and clients for bill certification. The role requires strong MS Excel skills, knowledge of BOQ and measurement calculations, and the ability to read drawings.

Job Description

We are looking for a Billing Engineer with experience in civil construction and infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparation of client and subcontractor bills, quantity calculations, measurements, reconciliation and maintaining proper billing documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare RA Bills / Running Account Bills for civil construction works.
• Take and verify measurements of completed work at site.
• Prepare detailed quantity calculations as per BOQ and drawings.
• Prepare client bills and subcontractor bills.
• Maintain Measurement Books (MB), Joint Measurement Sheets (JMS) and supporting documents.
• Check quantities against BOQ, drawings and actual site execution.
• Prepare extra-item, deviation and variation statements.
• Prepare rate analysis for extra/deviation items wherever required.
• Coordinate with site engineers, clients and consultants for measurement and bill certification.
• Track work orders, quantities executed, quantities billed and balance quantities.
• Assist in reconciliation of materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, earthwork/murrum and other construction materials.
• Maintain proper billing records and documentation.
• Prepare Excel-based billing and quantity statements.
• Assist management in monitoring project profitability and outstanding bills.
• Coordinate with accounts department regarding certified bills and payment status.
