Nandivardhan Group is seeking a Billing Engineer Civil for its real estate projects in Thane. You will measure completed works, prepare contractor bills, verify quantities, and ensure payments align with BOQ, drawings, and contracts.

Responsibilities include preparing RA bills, quantity measurement, BOQ updates, rate analysis, site coordination with Engineers and QS, and tracking costs and variations. Strong coordination and negotiation skills with a solid Civil background are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and verify RA (Running Account) bills submitted by contractors.
• Take measurements of RCC, excavation, masonry, plaster, flooring, waterproofing, etc.
• Prepare measurement sheets and maintain proper records.
• Prepare and update BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
• Calculate quantities required for various civil works.
• Identify quantity variations between planned and actual work.
• Prepare rate analysis for new or extra items.
• Verify material, labour, machinery, and other cost components.
• Support the commercial team during rate negotiations with contractors.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Contractors, and QS/Commercial teams.
• Regularly visit the site to verify actual work completed.
• Resolve discrepancies between site execution and contractor bills.
• Track extra items, deviation quantities, and variation orders.
• Ensure additional work is approved before it is included in billing.
• Assist with reconciliation of materials such as cement, steel, concrete, bricks/blocks, etc.
• Compare theoretical consumption with actual consumption.
• Track project costs against the approved budget.
• Identify excessive quantities or potential cost overruns.
• Prepare periodic cost and billing reports.
• Maintain measurement books, bills, BOQs, work orders, rate approvals, and supporting documents.
• Maintain proper records for audits and future reference.

Role & responsibilities

A Billing Engineer Civil in the real estate industry is mainly responsible for measuring completed construction work, preparing contractor bills, checking quantities, and ensuring payments are made correctly as per BOQ, drawings, and contracts.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Contractor Billing

• Prepare and verify RA (Running Account) bills submitted by contractors.
• Check quantities of work completed at site.
• Ensure bills are as per the agreed BOQ and contract rates.

Quantity Measurement

• Take measurements of RCC, excavation, masonry, plaster, flooring, waterproofing, etc.
• Prepare measurement sheets and maintain proper records.
• Cross-check site measurements with approved drawings.

BOQ & Quantity Estimation

• Prepare and update BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
• Calculate quantities required for various civil works.
• Identify quantity variations between planned and actual work.

Rate Analysis

• Prepare rate analysis for new or extra items.
• Verify material, labour, machinery, and other cost components.
