Job summary

Transformer Manufacturing Company is seeking a Backend Sales Engineer Transformers to support the sales team from Mumbai. The role involves coordinating sales activities, preparing quotations and cost estimates, and ensuring smooth coordination between customers and internal departments.

Candidates with 1–5 years in backend sales or sales coordination, and a diploma/BE in Electrical Engineering, are preferred. Proficiency in MS Excel and Word is expected.

Responsibilities

• Sales Coordination: Provide backend sales support to the front-end sales team and coordinate with customers regarding inquiries, quotations, and order status.
• Quotation Preparation: Prepare and submit techno-commercial quotations, proposals, and cost estimates for transformers based on customer requirements.
• Customer Inquiry Management: Review customer inquiries, technical specifications, tender documents, and RFQs related to transformers.
• Order Processing: Coordinate order booking, order documentation, and follow-up with internal departments to ensure timely execution.
• Technical Coordination: Liaise with the Design, Engineering, Production, Quality, and Purchase departments to obtain technical and commercial information.
• Customer Follow-up: Follow up with customers regarding quotations, pending inquiries, purchase orders, and order confirmations.
• Tender Management: Assist in preparing tender submissions, technical documents, compliance statements, and other required commercial documentation.
• MIS and Reporting: Maintain sales records, inquiry trackers, quotation status, order reports, and customer databases.
• Delivery Coordination: Coordinate with the production and dispatch teams to communicate order progress and delivery schedules to customers.
• Customer Relationship Management: Ensure timely responses to customer queries and maintain effective communication with clients.

Candidates with experience in backend sales, sales coordination, or commercial support in a transformer manufacturing company will be preferred.
