Job summary

Hyosungtndindia is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to design distribution transformers’ mechanical components. You will develop 2D layouts and 3D models, prepare outline GA drawings, and generate manufacturing drawings for transformer assemblies.

The role requires hands-on CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, Solid Edge, AutoCAD) and knowledge of transformer design standards. You will translate customer specs into precise drawings and collaborate with manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical.
• 2–3 years of experience in mechanical design for transformers.

Responsibilities

• Create outline GA drawings and manufacturing drawings for transformers.
• Develop 3D models and 2D layouts for transformer assemblies.
• Ensure drawings meet international standards and customer specs.

Responsibilities

• Candidate must have work experience of DistributionTransformer & Power transformersmechanical designs & drawings
• Candidate should have experience of drawings like Outline GA drawings &manufacturing drawings
• Candidate must have hands‑on experience in 3D solid modeling in Solid works /Autodesk Inventor / Solid edge / UG.NX / Creo or any other 3D software. (Solidworks / Solid edge will be added advantage)
• Should have hands‑on experience of AutoCAD 2D drawings, layout of PowerTransformer in 2D
• Should have knowledge of design and optimization of mechanical components fortransformer. Components like Tank.
• Candidate shall be able to understand the customer requirements fromspecifications and relative standards.
• Should have knowledge of various types of International Standards related toPower Transformers, Shunt reactors & special transformers.
• Candidate shall be able prepare error free drawings with the help ofchecklists and relative documents.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical
• 2 to 3 years

Technical Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving and time management skills.
• Good mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
• Knowledge of basic computer software like Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
• Proficient in 2D CAD and 3D modelling in Solid works / Solid edge.
• Preferred from manufacturing industry only.
