Job Summary-

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer Transformer with 3–5 years of relevant experience in transformer design and electrical engineering. The candidate will be responsible for supporting transformer design activities, technical documentation, electrical calculations, BOM preparation, testing, and coordination with production and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of LT Transformers.
• Prepare and maintain General Technical Particulars (GTP) for customer approvals and technical submissions.
• Prepare accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and raw material cost estimates.
• Prepare customer documentation, including drawings, datasheets, and technical specifications.
• Prepare winding specification sheets for production.
• Perform detailed electrical design calculations related to transformers.
• Participate in new product development, prototype testing, validation, and performance evaluation.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams, production, testing, and suppliers.
• Provide technical support to the production, manufacturing, and testing departments.
• Support product testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Ensure design documents and technical specifications are accurate and updated.
• Assist in resolving design and technical issues during manufacturing and testing.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of transformer electrical design principles.
• Experience in transformer design calculations and technical documentation.
• Good understanding of BOM preparation and material estimation.
• Ability to read and prepare electrical drawings and technical specifications.

• Ability to work effectively with Design, Production, Quality, Testing, and Purchase teams.
• Working knowledge of relevant electrical standards and transformer testing requirements will be an advantage.

Education & Experience-

• B.E./B.Tech. In Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in transformer/electrical design.
• Candidates with hands-on experience in LT transformer design will be preferred.
