Job summary

Sant Ram's in Chandigarh seeks an Operations Executive to manage movement of fine jewellery across design, workshop, QC, showroom and vault, ensuring every handover is tracked and documented. The role is on-site, full-time, with a strong emphasis on meticulous record-keeping, ERP mastery, and proactive communication to prevent bottlenecks in the supply chain.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in operations, back office, inventory, or logistics coordination.
• Retail or manufacturing experience preferred; jewellery a plus.
• Must be meticulous about records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Log and track movement of jewellery between departments with full documentation at each handover.
• Maintain accurate ERP records and reconcile stock with system entries.
• Coordinate daily with department heads to keep orders and repairs on schedule.
• Flag delays or missing paperwork to prevent issues.
• Prepare simple daily/weekly status reports for management.
• Support back-office tasks for other departments as needed.

Operations Executive – Jewellery Movement & Coordination

Sant Ram's is a 65-year-old fine jewellery house in Chandigarh, alongside Jazaa, our lab-grown diamond brand. We are building a modern operations backbone behind a heritage business, and this role sits at the centre of it.

The role

Every piece we sell moves through several hands — design, manufacturing, quality check, showroom, and back. Your job is to make sure that movement is tracked, timely, and accounted for. You are the person who always knows where a piece is, what stage it's at, and what's holding it up.

What you'll do

• Log and track the movement of jewellery between departments (design, workshop, QC, showroom, vault) with complete documentation at each handover
• Maintain accurate records in our ERP and reconcile physical stock against system entries
• Coordinate daily with department heads to keep orders and repairs moving on schedule
• Flag delays, discrepancies, or missing paperwork immediately — before they become problems
• Prepare simple daily/weekly status reports for management
• Support other departments (sales, accounts, marketing) with back-office tasks as needed

What we're looking for

• 1–3 years in operations, back office, inventory, or logistics coordination (retail or manufacturing preferred; jewellery a plus but not required)
• Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets; ERP experience is an advantage
• Meticulous about records — you don't leave gaps, and you don't sign off on what you haven't checked
