Role Overview
We are looking for academic counselors who have experience selling high‑value upskilling programs in domains such as Data Science / AI / GenAI, Cybersecurity / Ethical Hacking, and CFA / FRM and finance certifications.
Key Responsibilities
Domain‑Specific Lead Handling
- Manage inquiries for Data Science / AI / GenAI programs, Cybersecurity / Ethical Hacking, and CFA / FRM pathways.
- Qualify leads based on career intent, readiness, and financial commitment.
Consultative Academic Counseling
- Conduct detailed counseling sessions (calls/video/in‑person).
- Guide candidates on career paths (Data Scientist, Cybersecurity Analyst, Investment Banker, etc.), program outcomes and ROI, learning curve, timelines, and effort required.
- Handle objections from informed and comparison‑driven candidates.
Conversion Ownership
- Own the full journey: lead → counseling → follow‑up → closure.
- Maintain strong follow‑up discipline with serious prospects.
- Achieve monthly revenue and enrollment targets.
- Maintain structured lead tracking and notes in the CRM.
- Monitor pipeline movement and conversion ratios.
- Ensure no high‑intent lead is dropped.
Who This Role Is For
- You have previously sold programs in data science, cybersecurity, investment banking, CFA, or similar domains.
- You understand career outcomes (placements, roles, salary expectations).
- You are comfortable dealing with well‑informed, career‑focused learners.
Requirements
Experience
- 1‑4 years in EdTech admissions / inside sales.
- Strong preference for candidates who have sold Data Science, AI, and Cybersecurity programs, CFA / FRM or finance certifications.
- Experience in high‑ticket B2C sales is important.
