Job summary

AM Green Ammonia is seeking an experienced EPC Project Manager to coordinate end-to-end execution across engineering, procurement, construction and client teams. The role requires strong project controls, Primavera P6 and MS Project proficiency, and a track record in large-scale EPC projects.

The candidate will monitor schedules, manage multidisciplinary interfaces, and drive issue resolution to safeguard cost and timelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • 10–14 years of relevant experience in EPC project execution and/or project management.
  • Experience on large-scale industrial, energy, infrastructure or process plant EPC projects preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end execution activities across EPC, procurement, construction and client teams.
  • Monitor progress against schedules; identify deviations and drive recovery actions.
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination for engineering inputs, materials, and construction fronts.
  • Track interfaces, risks and constraints; close open actions and issues.
  • Prepare progress updates, action trackers and dashboards for review meetings.
  • Coordinate with client and internal stakeholders on technical and execution matters.
  • Support resolution of site-related issues to minimize cost and schedule impact.
  • Review package progress, productivity, and KPIs; highlight concerns and corrective measures.
  • Escalate critical issues timely and ensure follow-up until closure.
  • Ensure compliance with project plans, quality, HSE and contractual obligations.

Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate end-to-end execution activities for assigned project packages across Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Client teams.
  • Monitor project progress against approved schedules, milestones and deliverables; identify deviations and support timely recovery actions.
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination to ensure timely availability of engineering inputs, materials, services and construction work fronts.
  • Track critical interfaces, dependencies, risks and constraints, and drive closure of open actions and issues.
  • Support project review meetings and prepare progress updates, action trackers, status reports and management dashboards.
  • Coordinate with the client and internal stakeholders on technical, commercial and execution-related matters for the assigned package.
  • Support resolution of engineering, procurement, construction and site-related issues to minimize impact on cost, schedule and quality.
  • Review package-level progress, productivity and key performance indicators; highlight concerns and recommend corrective measures.
  • Ensure timely escalation of critical issues and maintain effective follow-up until closure.
  • Support compliance with approved project plans, quality requirements, HSE standards and contractual obligations.
KEY COMPETENCIES
  • Strong understanding of EPC project execution, project controls and multidisciplinary interfaces.
  • Proficiency in project planning, progress monitoring, reporting and issue/risk management.
  • Strong stakeholder management, coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Working knowledge of project management tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project will be preferred.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • 10-14 years of relevant experience in EPC project execution and/or project management.
  • Experience in large-scale industrial, energy, infrastructure, process plant or similar EPC projects will be preferred.
