Job summary

SATechnologies Inc. in Pune seeks an Automotive Software Validation Engineer to drive validation activities for infotainment ECUs. You will design and execute test cases from requirements, perform grey-box testing, and contribute to automated testing using Python and CAPL.

Strong understanding of CAN/LIN/UDS and test tools is essential. Candidate should have 3+ years in automotive software validation, including 2+ years in infotainment validation, and a BE/ME in Electronics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master of Engineering degree in Electronics.
• 3+ years of experience in Automotive Software Validation Domain
• At least 2+ years of experience in Automotive Infotainment Validation

Responsibilities

• Create Automated and manual DVP and its execution.
• Interact with team leader for issues and improvements.
• Raise bugs in tracking tool and monitor progress.
• Develop plans to execute different kinds of tests.
• Create positive and negative test scenarios for robust testing.
• Debug issues effectively.
• Flash ECU with latest build and perform smoke tests.
• Perform PEER reviews among team.
• Validate system with various testing techniques.
• Comply with project plans and industry standards.

Qualifications:

Skills andcompetencies:

Must Have:

• Strongunderstanding of Automotive Infotainment Systems & its validation
• Hands on experience in Grey boxtest is must
• Hands on experience ofAutomation for Infotainment ECU is must.
• Good knowledge of software requirementunderstanding
• Experience in creating andexecuting the test cases/test plans developed from requirements
• Core experience in testing of Infotainment featurelike BT, Tuner, Media,USB,WiFi,Andriod Auto, Car Play, Navigation, VR, RVC & Software update.
• Experience on ECU flashing and flashing tools.
• Hands on experience in Python & CAPL scripting forautomated test cases writing.
• In depth Knowledge of HW/CANoe/CANalysers/PEAK CAN
• Knowledge and experience with automotivecommunication protocols such as CAN, LIN &UDS Protocols and related tools to measure and command signals, though scripting orotherwise.
• Good exposure in debugging tool ( Trace32, Seggar, J-Link, etc)
• Experience with ConfigurationManagement, requirementmanagement
• Hands-on skills to design, build andbring up test setup / test infra.
• Must be a goodteam player and act as per the project needs
• Business level of English.
