Job summary

SA Technologies is hiring for a Software Developer_ DMS C++ in Pune to contribute to automotive software development with a focus on driver monitoring systems. You will design and implement C++ modules, work with QNX/Linux environments, and collaborate across teams to deliver robust software solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in automotive C++ development, strong OO design skills, and experience with multithreading and IPC mechanisms.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years in Automotive C++ development and automation framework design.
• Experience with QNX/Linux and Windows platforms is required.
• Strong OO design, multithreading and IPC expertise are essential.
• Experience with ADAS/Driver Monitoring systems is preferred.
• Unit testing experience with GTest/GMock is expected.

Responsibilities

• C++ Development of modules using correct design patterns.
• Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions.
• Write well-designed, testable code.
• Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility.
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.
• Document and maintain software functionality.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.
• Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback.
• Comply with project plans and industry standards.
• Ensure software is updated with latest features.
• Go beyond to achieve project goals with cross-team collaboration.

Requirement/Description:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics/ComputerScience/Electrical Electronics.

Experience:

• More than 5 years experience in Automotive C++development and automation framework design.

Skills and competencies:

Must Have:

• Strong Object Oriented Design skills
• Strong experience in C/C++ (CPP 17, 23), VC++programming Skills
• Qualcomm QNX/Linux based platform experience.Especially Qualcomm SA8255/7255 is preferred
• Hands on experience in different IPC mechanism such as Shared memory, message queue and sockets
• Hands on experience in implementing multithreaded applications
• Knowledge of different design patterns:Structural, behavioral and Creational Experience on working with OS like QNX,Linux and windows
• Debugging and resolving linux/qnx core dumpissues, other exceptions using gdb
• Experience on Adaptive Autosar and SOME/IPservice Interfaces, Ethernet communication
• Knowlege of using tools like CANoe/CANoeEthernet, Rest bus simulation
• Proven experience inautomotiveenvironmentfor ADAS/AD functions
• Domain knowledge in Driver Monitoring Systemis preferred
• Experience in writing unit test cases inGtest, Gmock
• Hands onexperience of Vector HW/CANoe/CANalysers/CANape/C/CAPL programming/Paneldesigning/Signal generator etc.
• Knowledge and experience withautomotive communication protocols such as CAN, UDS and related tools tomeasure and command signals, though scripting or otherwise.
• Must be a good team player and act as per theproject needs
• Hands-on skills to design, build and bring up testbenches.
• Experience with revision controltools,issue-tracking tools JIRA/DOORS/Coverity etc.
• Business level of English.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge ofSecurity algorithm – Open SSL, RSA
• Experience of working in Scrum team inAgile methodology.
