Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) IAE unit seeks an experienced QA Lead for automotive infotainment testing. You will drive manual and automated testing across connectivity features, Ethernet and CAN protocols, and ECU update workflows.

Lead a small testing team, engage with clients, and deliver comprehensive test coverage and metrics. You will collaborate with engineering to define test plans, execute end-to-end tests, and report on quality with dashboards and insights.

Qualifications

• QA/testing experience in automotive infotainment or embedded systems.
• Strong knowledge of Automotive Ethernet, CAN protocols, and connectivity features.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and scripting languages (Python, Java).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automation testing for infotainment systems with focus on connectivity and Bluetooth.
• Validate Automotive Ethernet and CAN protocols during system testing.
• Execute functional, integration, and regression tests on infotainment and connectivity modules.
• Analyze requirements and write comprehensive test cases ensuring full coverage.
• Apply test automation frameworks and scripting knowledge to support automation initiatives.
• Utilize Jira, Xray, Tableau, and Lucid for test management, defect tracking, reporting, and visualization.
• Prepare test reports, dashboards, and metrics for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and resolve defects.
• Lead and guide a team of testers to ensure adherence to quality standards and timelines.
• Conduct client discussions, provide status updates, and manage expectations.
• Perform bench setup, flashing, and ECU updates for testing environments.
