Job summary

SATechnologies Inc. in Pune is hiring for a software engineer responsible for validating automotive electronics build and integration across Android and Linux platforms.

You will set up and optimize CI/CD pipelines, manage Docker/Kubernetes environments, review code in Git/Gerrit, and collaborate with distributed teams to deliver reliable builds.

Qualifications

• Must Have: Strong hands-on experience with Android and Linux build systems.
• Must Have: Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes (containerization, deployments, cluster troubleshooting).
• Must Have: Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
• Must Have: Solid understanding of Git commands and branch management techniques.
• Must Have: Experience using Gerrit, Artifactory, and Coverity.
• Must Have: Expertise in debugging build failures and pipeline issues.
• Must Have: Scripting in Python and Shell.
• Must Have: Understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform software integration and build activities for Android and Linux platforms.
• Set up, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and related tools.
• Handle Docker and Kubernetes-based environments, including containerization, deployment, and debugging.
• Manage source code repositories, including branching, merging, and code reviews in Git and Gerrit.
• Analyze and resolve build failures, Jenkins pipeline errors, and integration issues.
• Work with Coverity or similar tools for static code analysis and ensure code quality standards.
• Develop automation scripts using Python and Shell to streamline build, test, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot network-related issues affecting the build and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth integration, testing, and delivery of software components.
