Job summary

Parle Tableting Technologies in Gujarat, India seeks a senior automation engineer to lead Beckhoff PLC development and SCADA/HMI projects, ensuring robust control logic and reliable operation across manufacturing lines.

You will guide junior engineers, design interfaces with databases, review electrical schematics, and support customers through installation and commissioning phases, all while enforcing safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• BE / BTech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering (or equivalent).
• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, programming, and troubleshooting of Beckhoff PLC systems using Structured Text (ST) and Function Block (FB) languages.
• Architect and develop SCADA / HMI applications integrated with MS Access or SQL databases for data logging, reporting, and analytics.
• Design, optimize, and validate machine automation sequences, control logic, and interlocks for reliable and efficient operation.
• Execute and lead testing, commissioning, FAT, and SAT activities at factory and customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve complex software, hardware, and field-level automation issues.
• Review automation designs and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and crossfunctional teams.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including software design specifications, user manuals, validation documents, and reports.
• Collaborate closely with electrical design, mechanical, and software teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Support customers during installation, commissioning, and postimplementation phases.
• Ensure automation solutions comply with safety standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.
• Strong understanding of field sensors, actuators, drives, control components, and industrial communication protocols.
• Ability to read, interpret, and review electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience in system debugging, performance optimization, and lifecycle support.
