Job summary

Parle Tableting Technologies Pvt Ltd is seeking an Automation Engineer to develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems across multiple sites. The role includes SCADA/HMI development with database reporting, integration of motion control, and commissioning of field sensors.

You will work with electrical and software teams to ensure timely project execution, with travel across India to customer sites for FAT/SAT and commissioning tests.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as Automation Engineer.
• Pan India Customer Site Support & Travel.
• Experience with PLCs, drives and field devices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems using vendor platforms.
• Design SCADA/HMI applications with database integration.
• Configure and optimize machine automation sequences and control logic.
• Integrate servo drives and motion control systems.
• Commission field sensors and vision systems at customer sites.
• Perform FAT/SAT and site acceptance testing.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports.

Job description

• Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley, Omron, etc.) using Structured Text (ST) and Function Block (FB) languages.
• Design and develop SCADA/HMI applications with integration to MS Access or SQL databases for reporting and data logging.
• Configure, test, debug, and optimize machine automation sequences and control logic.
• Integrate, configure, and troubleshoot servo drives, servo motors, and motion control systems (e.g., Omron, Mitsubishi, Siemens).
• Work with and commission field sensors such as proximity sensors, photoelectric sensors, encoders, and vision systems.
• Perform system testing, commissioning, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues in automation systems, including PLCs, drives, and field devices.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and operation manuals.
• Collaborate with electrical and software design teams to ensure smooth and timely project execution.
• B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related fields.
