Job summary

Dynamech Electropower is seeking a result-driven Electrical Sales Engineer to identify and develop customers including dealers, EPC contractors, utilities and industrial clients across power transformers and related equipment.

The role involves promoting Power & IDT transformers, generating leads through market visits, meetings, exhibitions and digital channels, and coordinating with Design/Engineering teams to tailor techno-commercial transformer solutions.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineer graduate with knowledge of transformers and electrical power equipment.
• Understanding of transformer ratings, applications, specifications, and basic technical parameters.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and business development.
• Ability to understand technical specifications and prepare techno-commercial offers.
• Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills.
• Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers, dealers, EPC contractors, consultants, utilities, and industrial clients.
• Promote and market Power & IDT transformers to potential customers.
• Generate leads through market visits, customer meetings, exhibitions, networking, and digital channels.
• Understand customer technical requirements and coordinate with the Design/Engineering Team for suitable transformer solutions.
• Prepare and submit quotations, techno-commercial offers, and proposals in coordination with the sales and technical teams.
• Follow up on enquiries, quotations, purchase orders, payments, and deliveries.
• Develop strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer requirements.
• Visit project sites and customer locations when required.
• Coordinate with Production, Design, Quality, Dispatch, and Accounts teams to ensure smooth order execution.
• Maintain customer and enquiry databases and provide regular sales/marketing reports.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and support the company's business development objectives.
• Participate in exhibitions, conferences, product presentations, and customer meets.
• Collect customer feedback and communicate market requirements to management and the technical team.

Preferred candidate profile :
