Job summary

Tata AutoComp Systems Limited in Pune seeks a Program Planning & Execution professional to lead end-to-end program management from customer nomination to SOP, and to develop detailed timelines ensuring timely delivery across engineering, production, and supply chain.

You will act as the primary customer contact, drive readiness for launches, manage NPD/APQP activities, and monitor risks, changes, and budgets while presenting progress through dashboards and reports.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end program management for automotive or similar industries.
• Hands-on APQP knowledge and product industrialization.
• Ability to manage budgets and track project costs.
• Strong communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program management from customer nomination to SOP.
• Develop and track detailed project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and risk mitigation plans.
• Ensure timely completion of project activities as per customer and organizational requirements.
• Monitor program health and raise critical issues proactively.
• Act as the primary point of contact between customers and internal functions.
• Coordinate customer requirements, engineering changes, timelines, and status updates.
• Participate in customer reviews, program meetings, and launch readiness assessments.
• Ensure achievement of customer milestones and satisfaction targets.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, and Manufacturing teams.
• Drive project reviews and ensure closure of action items.
• Facilitate smooth communication across all stakeholders.
• Manage APQP activities and ensure successful product industrialization.
• Track prototype development, testing, validation, and production readiness.
• Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and automotive standards.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Monitor engineering changes and assess impact on cost, timing, and quality.
• Drive issue resolution through structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Monitor project budgets and program profitability.
• Track investment requirements, tooling costs and project expenditures.
• Collaborate with Finance and Procurement teams for cost optimization initiatives.
• Ensure successful product launch as per agreed timelines.
• Coordinate readiness reviews covering quality, manufacturing, logistics, and supplier preparedness.
• Track launch issues and ensure timely closure.
• Prepare and present program status reports to management and customers.
• Develop dashboards highlighting project progress, risks, quality, cost, and timing.
