Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. seeks a Mechanical engineer with 4–6 years of experience in Agri machinery to lead vendor development. Qualifications

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in Agri Machinery/Tractor industry, vendor development.
• Fluent in English and local language (read, write, speak).
• Able to design and develop economical manufacturing processes for FTR components.
• Proficient in drawing evaluation and strong engineering skills in relevant commodity.
• Knowledge of machining, forging processes, and cycle time estimation.

Responsibilities

• Drawings evaluation and process planning for new project parts.
• Develop economical manufacturing processes to produce FTR components.
• Collaborate with various departments and suppliers to ensure QCD targets.
• Engage in vendor development and cost estimation activities.
• Apply SPC/MSA techniques for process capability and quality improvements.

Job description

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:

• -Drawing study, Cost estimation / SBC, process planning for new project parts.
• - RFQ floating, Technical sign-off with suppliers, Quote synthesis
• - Release PO, PR in the system & commercial data maintenance
• - New component development for Casting /Machining within QCD targets.
• - VPPAP closure, scheduling & procurement
• - Liasoning with various departments (SSU, QA, SCPC, Mfg, PMO)

Experience

• '-4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Agri Machinery /Tractor Industry , Vendor development function.

BTech/ BE- Mechanical

• '-Ability to speak + read + write fluently in English and local language
• '-Ability to design and develop economical manufacturing process to produce FTR components
• '-Needs to be proficient in drawing evaluation and must have strong engineering expertise in relevant commodity
