Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Limited in India seeks a Mechanical engineer with 4–6 years of experience in agri machinery and vendor development to lead drawing evaluation, cost estimation, and process planning for new parts. The role requires collaboration with SSU, QA, SCPC, Mfg and PMO to ensure successful releases and procurement.

You will work on RFQ sign-offs, technical approvals, and manufacturing process optimization while leveraging SAP and strong interpersonal skills to influence decisions.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Agri Machinery /Tractor Industry, vendor development function.
• BTech/ BE- Mechanical degree.
• Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English and local language.
• Proficient in drawing evaluation and must have strong engineering expertise in relevant commodity.
• Machining process knowledge & cycle time estimation for Forging & Machining, Hardware components.
• Process capability study, SPC, MSA.

Responsibilities

• Drawing study, Cost estimation / SBC, process planning for new project parts.
• RFQ floating, Technical sign-off with suppliers, Quote synthesis
• Release PO, PR in the system & commercial data maintenance
• New component development for Casting /Machining within QCD targets.
• VPPAP closure, scheduling & procurement
• Liaisoning with various departments (SSU, QA, SCPC, Mfg, PMO)
