Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. in Maharashtra, Chakan is seeking a skilled supplier quality engineer to drive accelerated APQP/PPAP delivery in automotive components. You will apply PFMEA, MSA, SPC and GD&T to assure manufacturability and robust processes.

You will lead rapid problem solving with 8D, streamline PPAP/PSW, and coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to close DFM, VOB and TKO on time while maintaining strict quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with APQP/PPAP processes in automotive supply chains.
• Proficiency in PFMEA, MSA, SPC and related quality tools.
• Familiarity with GD&T and Poka-yoke approaches.
• Strong problem solving using 8D and QC Story methods.
• Ability to manage projects and coordinate with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Drive APQP, PPAP and quality system adherence across supplier components.
• Lead rapid problem solving and 8D activities to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate PPAP/PSW processes with vendors and internal teams.
• Ensure manufacturability feedback through drawing reviews and FMEA.
• Plan and monitor DFM, VOB and TKO closures on time.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure QCD targets are met.

• 11. Impeccable Inspection Standards: Prioritize rapid yet thorough PIST and PIPC inspections, ensuring parts meet strict quality standards post-PPAP approval.
• 12. Timeline-focused Process Closures: Champion the swift closure of DFM, VOB, TKO, ensuring each process meets its designated timeline without quality compromise.
• 13. Stakeholder Collaboration: Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, driving agile collaborations with both internal and external stakeholders for faster decision-making.
• 14. Agile Process Development: Continually refine and implement processes/tools for supplier component development, ensuring adaptability and rapid response to changes.

• ISO/TS quality systems,

• Handling of Inspection Equipements and metrological knowledge
