Job summary

Hni Autotech in India seeks a Dy.Manager or Asst.Manager - Customer Relationship to understand customer requirements in terms of quantity, quality and delivery, building a good customer experience for our automotive products.

The role requires BE Mechanical and a minimum of 10 years in automotive manufacturing; you will lead cross-functional teams, translate demand into production data, support negotiations and costings, ensuring smooth delivery and long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical
• Min 10 years in any Automobile manufacturing
• Experience dealing with major automotive clients and contracts

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for major automotive clients, coordinating with purchasing and supply chain teams
• Conduct regular business reviews to assess quantities, quality and delivery performance
• Coordinate the entire team(s) to meet customer requirements
• Translate customer demand forecasts into actionable data for production operations
• Coordinate with Production and QA for smooth delivery
• Prepare product costing for existing and new lines
• Monitor contracts with customers and lead renewal negotiations
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell new components and engineering capabilities

The purpose of the role to understand customer requirements in terms of quantity, quality and delivery to build Good customer experience for our products

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve the primary point of contact for major automotive clients, building strong relationship with the purchasing and supply chain teams
• Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance metrics such as Quantity, quality and delivery.
• Co-ordinate the entire team(s) to meet the customer requirement.
• Translate customer demand forecasts into actionable data for internal manufacturing operations team to prevent under or over production.
• Coordinate with Production and QA team for smooth flow to delivery
• Preparation of the product costing - existing and new
• Monitoring existing contract with customer and lead the renewal negotiation process.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell new components lines or engineering capabilities to current clients

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical

Min 10 years in any Automobile manufacturing

Knowledge and Skill Requirement:

• Good knowledge Auto components industry process
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skill are required.
• Good Analytical knowledge to analyses the customer trends & behaviours,
• Experience for Automotive standards practices like IATF 16949 ,
• Good problem solving and initiative thinking to identify and sorting the daily issues
• Good leadership skill to handle various stakeholder.
