Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited (Automotive and Farm Equipment Business) in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, is seeking a Quality engineer to oversee assembly line equipment processes, ensure consistent vehicle quality, and drive systematic problem solving with poke-yoke, HEP and QC tools.

The role focuses on developing and deploying BIQ-aligned quality systems, training gaps, monitoring SPC on line TCNR torque control, understanding vehicle subsystems (HVAC, brakes, clutch, diagnostics) and conducting

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree required.
• Bachelors of Technology in Mechanical engineering.
• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical (MECH) degree required.

Responsibilities

• Understand assembly line equipment processes and parameters (wheel alignment, dynamometers, filling equipment).
• Ensure consistent quality of rolled-out vehicles and straight pass.
• Apply poke-yoke, HEP and QC tools for systematic problem resolution.
• Develop and deploy quality systems aligned with BIQ focus.
• Identify needs, bridge ownership gaps, document and train.
• Monitor SPC on line torque control nut runner (TCNR).
• Understand torque and pneumatic tools for calibration (TCNR, battery tools).
• Perform engineering specification tests on vehicles.
• Verify quality inspector certifications through MSA.
• Lead WRAP-based field failure control.
• Understand vehicle subsystems such as HVAC, brakes, clutch, and diagnostics.

3. Systematic Concern Resolution Process with understanding of Poke yoke, HEP,& QC tools
4. Responsible for Develop & Deploy Quality Systems in line with focus on BIQ

6. Responsible & Monitoring SPC on line Torque control nut runner (TCNR)

9. Responsible for check man(Quality Inspector) certification through MSA(measurement system analysis)
10. Responsible field failure control through WRAP(warranty reduction audit process)
