Job summary

Infinite in Bangalore is hiring for a desktop IT support role. The position offers a training period with a stipend of 18,000 per month, immediate joining, and a 2-year service agreement with an exit clause of 2,00,000. Shifts are 24/7 rotational (night shift); background in Art & Science is preferred.

Post probation, salary is 3.6 LPA. The role involves handling hardware, Windows OS support, ticketing, and user training across small business IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and support desktop IT hardware including telephones, desktops, printers
• Answer user calls, create tickets and resolve issues
• Remotely install, upgrade, troubleshoot Windows OS and applications on laptops/desktops
• Provide user training on IT systems
• Diagnose and resolve Windows application issues
• Basic troubleshooting of LAN/WAN connectivity
• Understand Azure concepts
• Escalate issues beyond scope via IT ticketing system
• Configure desktops to meet specs and standards
• Document infrastructure with clear technical writing

Roles and Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and support desktop IT hardware including but not limited to telephones, desktop computers, printers.
• Answer calls from users, creating tickets and resolving issues.
• Remotely Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows OS and any other authorized desktop applications on Laptops/Desktops.
• Handling Basic L1 level queries for the users
• Provide assistance and training to users on information technology systems.
• Diagnose and quickly resolve a wide range of Windows applications issues
• Basic troubleshooting knowledge for internet/LAN and WAN Connectivity issues
• Understanding on Azure.
• When the restoration is beyond the scope of the support escalat the issue/problem to appropriate resolver group using IT Ticketing System
• Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for printers & related computer hardware.
• Customize & configure desktop hardware to meet specifications and business standards
• Strong technical written and verbal communication skills (Technical writing and Documentation of Infrastructure)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a small business environment
• Team player must be able to work with people within and outside the IT department.
• Customer service oriented.
• Must be willing to work in rotation shifts.
