Job summary

VIP is seeking an experienced store/warehouse professional in Nashik to lead material handling and inventory control. The role involves supervising staff, conducting regular counts, and ensuring accurate ERP updates for receipts, issues, and stock movements.

The ideal candidate has 5–12+ years in stores, with M.Com/MBA in Material Management, and hands-on experience with FIFO/FEFO, quality standards, and vendor coordination to avoid stockouts and obsolescence.

Qualifications

• Total experience: 5–12+ years in store/warehouse management.
• Education: M.Com or MBA in Material Management.
• Experience with cycle counts and reconciliation with ERP records.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store staff, assign tasks, and support training.
• Conduct physical and cycle counts; reconcile with system records.
• Ensure 100% accuracy of physical vs. record data.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe store premises.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials against PO.
• Store materials with proper identification (Lot No.).
• Issue materials to production and subcontractors.
• Manage stock transfer dispatch and verify docs.
• Maintain GRNs, stock registers, and returns.
• Process GRNs and update ERP in real-time.
• Generate consumption and stock reports for management.
• Implement FIFO/FEFO and prevent obsolescence.
• Liaise with procurement for replenishments and vendors for delivery.
• Coordinate with production for material needs.
• Adhere to safety, ISO quality, and 5S standards.
• Scrap management and control of tools/equipment.
• Optimize receiving, storage, and issuing processes.
• Minimize stock loss and optimize space; timely reorders.
• Follow guidelines for hazardous materials handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise store workmen, staff, assign tasks, and assist in training.
• Conduct regular physical counts, cycle counts, and reconcile with system records.
• 100% physical vs. record compliance, meticulous data entry.
• Ensure the store premises are clean, organized, and safe.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials against purchase orders.
• Arrange storage in designated areas, ensuring proper identification (Lot No.).
• Issue materials to production/subcontractors
• Manage dispatch of Stock transfer material, verifying documentation and packaging.
• Maintain accurate store records (GRNs, stock registers, returns).
• Process Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) and updatew ERP/software in real-time.
• Generate reports (consumption trends, stock status) for management.
• Implement stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO) and prevent obsolescence.
• Liaise with Procurement for timely material replenishment and vendors for deliveries.
• Coordinate with Production for material requirements.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality (ISO), and environmental standards (5S).
