Job description

Purpose/Objective

• The Shift Incharge Projects - Material Issue is responsible for ensuring the efficient issuance and management of raw materials to support production operations.
• This role involves tracking returnable and non-returnable materials, maintaining compliance with ISO standards, and organizing documentation.
• The incumbent will implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on KPIs, safety, and cost reduction while managing inventory levels and resource utilization to align with production demands.

Key Responsibilities of Role

• LRN, RTV, RGB & NRGB Management: - Oversee line return materials follow-up (LRN), manage return to vendor processes (RTV), and ensure continuous tracking of returnable (RGB) and non-returnable (NRGB) gate passes.
• This includes monitoring inventory and ensuring compliance with ISO audit document management by maintaining neat and organized documentation.
• KPI Monitoring, Kaizen, 5S, and EHS Safety: - Implement daily improvements, such as material identification and rack planning, to enhance productivity and safety.
• Focus on cost-saving measures for consumables, problem-solving, and effective collaboration with PPC and production teams to ensure safe handling of materials and avoid damages.
• MSPVL 5GW Module Production RM Materials Issuance: - Ensure timely issuance of raw materials to production based on PPC material requests and production demands.
• Monitor the shelf-life of materials, utilize FIFO and FEFO methods, and maintain effective resource utilization while developing employee skills for improved productivity.
• 10 GW Project Store Activities & KPI Monitoring: - Manage the issuance of materials as per material requests, maintaining accurate records for inventory tracking, ISO compliance, and auditing purposes.
• Focus on documentation management and continuous improvement initiatives while effectively utilizing available resources.
• Inventory Management and Capitalization: - Conduct daily cross-verification of project materials against ERP systems to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Use ABC analysis for stock management and ensure timely capitalization of project materials, monitoring inventory levels and applying FIFO and LIFO accounting management principles.
• Key Stakeholders - Internal: - Project Management Team - Procurement Department - Production Team - Warehouse Staff
