GMR Group is seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager in Hyderabad to execute and supervise civil infrastructure projects in coordination with electrical, mechanical, IT, and MEP disciplines. You will ensure safety, quality, and adherence to budget and schedule while guiding a team of engineers and contractors.

The role requires 7+ years of experience in building and infrastructure projects, with exposure to large-scale utilities or institutional facilities and a minimum project value of 50 Cr.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required.
• 7+ total years of experience in building and infrastructure projects.
• Experience in management/execution of infrastructure projects with high-value contracts.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and ensure civil/structural works align with construction schedule within time and cost constraints.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients for design inputs and review buildability of submittals.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and stakeholder expectations.
• Certify contractor’s monthly RA bills and review progress reports to catch delays.
• Lead and develop junior engineers; optimize resources and promote value engineering during construction.
• Support bidding for new projects with quantification and working drawings.

Job Description:

JOB PURPOSE

Execute and complete the Civil Infrastructure projects in coordination with Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing & Information Technology with implementation of highest safety & quality standards, ensuring the works are completed within budget & time.

Construction Management: Under the guidance of the Project Manager, coordinate and ensure implementation of civil / structural works as per the agreed construction schedule to ensure the works are completed within time & cost complying with quality standards.

Progress Timelines Quality Cost

Design Management: Coordinate with consultants and clients for the necessary design inputs. Review all the design submittals for the buildability

Ensure zero non-compliance to Statutory requirements, satisfying all stake holder requirements.

Certify contractor’s monthly RA Bills as per the works executed. Review of daily / weekly progress report as per the work schedule. Coordinate with the contractor’s team of Engineers / supervisors and collectively work out action plans to catch up with the occasional / frequent delay of work progress.

Implementation of Health, Safety and Environmental measures as per the standard operating procedures.

HSE Standard Operating Procedures

Drive the team development initiative by training and guiding the junior executives with emphasis on optimization of resources, value engineering during construction process and exploring the knowledge sharing aspects as a team.

Team development & Learning’s Employee Engagement scores

Provide support to bidding team for new projects by way of quantification, preparation of working drawings etc.

Qualifying and winning the Projects.

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Interact with external consultants, Vendors / contractors for smooth execution of the projects.
Interaction with external stakeholders of the projects to understand their requirements.

• Reporting manager, team members and other MEP team.

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

Should have work experience in project Management / execution of Infrastructure projects, public utility Building or Institutional Buildings with a minimum project value of 50 Cr

OTHER DIMENSIONS

• To handle small projects parallelly.


• Should have been part one major building from excavation till handover.


• Sound leadership skills with emphasis on team building and communication skills.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
