GMR Group is seeking a senior Civil Project Manager in Hyderabad to lead civil infrastructure initiatives, coordinating with electrical, mechanical, and IT teams while upholding safety and quality. You will drive construction, design, and stakeholder engagement to ensure timely handover of high-value projects.

The role requires 7+ years in building and infrastructure projects, strong leadership, and a proven ability to manage budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in building and infrastructure projects.
• Experience in project management / execution of infrastructure projects with minimum 50 Cr value.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate civil/structural works per the construction schedule to meet time and cost with quality.
• Review design submittals and ensure buildability; coordinate with consultants and clients.
• Certify contractor RA bills and monitor daily/weekly progress reports.
• Drive health, safety and environmental measures per SOP.
• Support bidding with quantification and drawing preparation.

Construction Management:

Under the guidance of the Project Manager, coordinate and ensure implementation of civil / structural works as per the agreed construction schedule to ensure the works are completed withintime & cost complying with quality standards.

Design Management:

Coordinate with consultants and clients for the necessary design inputs. Review all the design submittals for the buildability

Ensure zero non-compliance to Statutory requirements, satisfying all stake holder requirements.

Certify contractor’s monthly RA Bills as per the works executed. Review of daily / weekly progress report as per the work schedule. Coordinate with the contractor’s team of Engineers / supervisors and collectively work out action plans to catch up with the occasional / frequent delay of work progress.

Drive the team development initiative by training and guiding the junior executives with emphasis on optimization of resources, value engineering during construction process and exploring the knowledge sharing aspects as a team.

Provide support to bidding team for new projects by way of quantification, preparation of working drawings etc.

Interact with external consultants, Vendors / contractors for smooth execution of the projects.

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

Should have work experience in project Management / execution of Infrastructure projects, public utility Building or Institutional Buildings with a minimum project value of 50 Cr

• To handle small projects parallelly.
• Should have been part one major building from excavation till handover.
• Sound leadership skills with emphasis on team building and communication skills.
