Job summary

GEA Group in Pune, India, is seeking an experienced logistics professional to execute transport and logistics tasks within project order execution. You will monitor project orders and ensure materials are delivered on time to Workshops, Warehouses and Packaging companies.

Responsibilities includeERP-based follow-ups, packing list handling, shipping/documentation, customs invoicing, and ERP-driven goods receiving, with liaison to buyers, transport managers and quality teams.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in transport and logistics.
• Relevant education in commerce or supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Follow up dates in ERP to prevent delays; coordinate with buyers, workshops and quality.
• Receive and evaluate preliminary packing lists from Workshop.
• Prepare packing lists in ERP and advise Transport Managers on readiness.
• Issue shipping documents when needed with input from Transport Managers.
• Issue and breakdown customs invoices when needed.
• Translate shipping documents when needed.
• Create purchase orders in ERP for packaging materials and transport bookings.
• Register goods receiving information in ERP when orders are ready.

Job description

Execution of transport & logistics tasks within project order execution. Monitoring of project orders and to ensure materials are delivered in due time to Workshops, Warehouses and Packaging companies

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Following up at dates in ERP system and to ensure no delays. Coordination with buyers, workshops and quality department
• Receiving and evaluation of preliminary Packing lists from Workshop (split items process)
• Preparation of Packing lists in ERP system and readiness advise to Transport Managers
• Issuing of shipping documents (When needed. Input from Transport Managers)
• Issuing & break-down of Customs invoice (When needed. Input from Transport Managers)
• Translation of all shipping documents (When needed. Input from Transport Managers)
• Task related to purchase order creation: (one role in ERP system) Creation of Purchase orders within logistics tasks (packaging material, packaging orders, transport booking) with input from Transport Managers
• Task related to goods receiving: (one role in ERP system) Register Goods receiving information in ERP system when orders are ready from Workshops

• Experience: 5–7 years
• Qualification: B.Com / Diploma / Engineering Graduate / Diploma in Supply Chain
