Job summary

National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) invites applications for the Associate Compliance role focused on NBBL. The position requires 2+ years of experience in compliance within the BFSI landscape and graduation in CA/CS/LLB or MBA or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in BFSI compliance or regulatory roles.
  • Graduation in CA/CS/LLB or MBA or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to manage policy, risk, and compliance across ecosystems.

Responsibilities

  • Tracking regulatory Circulars, Notices and Regulation.
  • RBIFilings.
  • Conducting Steering Committee Meetings and preparing MoM.
  • Preparing Board updates and ATR.
  • Internal Audit and regulatory Inspection.
  • Drafting Policy and Procedures.
  • Engage with the team in formulation of policies and processes for ecosystem partners and members, initiate measures and oversee execution to maintain compliance.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of compliance levels to identify bottlenecks and enable elimination of the same to ensure that there are no deviations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tracking regulatory Circulars, Notices and Regulation.

  • Preparing Board updates and ATR.
  • Internal Audit and regulatory Inspection.
  • Drafting Policy and Procedures.
  • Engage with the team in formulation of policies and processes for ecosystem partners and members, initiate measures and oversee execution to maintain compliance.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of compliance levels to identify bottlenecks and enable elimination of the same to ensure that there are no deviations.
  • Interpret relevant regulatory circulars/directions and monitor regulatory activities.
  • Filing of periodical reports with the regulator.
  • Initiate coordination with the respective product, operations and BD teams to ensure that required information and safeguards are maintained as per defined standards of NBBL.
Requirements
  • Preferably from BFSI industry in compliance/law.
  • Any graduate / Masters degree in the related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, risk & compliance laws.
  • AI-enabled mindset with the ability to leverage AI/ML tools and insights to drive smarter decision‑making, improve data workflows, and enhance outcomes.
