Job summary

DMW CNC Solutions is seeking an experienced Stores/Inventory professional to manage daily store operations at our Coimbatore site. You will receive incoming materials, verify quantity and quality, and ensure proper storage and labeling in alignment with ERP records.

Role requires strong ERP knowledge, material planning ability, and leadership to coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and Quality teams. Proficiency in MS Excel and a focus on accuracy are essential for daily reporting and control

Qualifications

• Experience in managing stores and inventory in a manufacturing setup.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and inventory controls.
• Proficient in MS Excel and material planning with analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of the stores.
• Receive materials and verify against purchase orders.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling and preservation of materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems.
• Monitor stock levels and issue materials to production.
• Implement FIFO practices where applicable.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality teams.
• Document receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and dispatches.
• Prepare inventory and stores-related reports for management.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of the stores
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantity, quality, and documentation against purchase orders.
• Ensure proper storage, identification, labeling, and preservation of materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems.
• Monitor stock levels
• Ensure timely issue of materials to production and other departments.
• Implement FIFO practices wherever applicable.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality
• Ensure proper documentation for receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and dispatches.
• Prepare and submit inventory and stores-related reports to management.

Preferred candidate profile
