Job summary

PRASUMA is looking for an Area Service Manager (ASM) to oversee day-to-day operations across a cluster of dark stores in Bengaluru. You will ensure smooth inventory flow, accurate fulfillment, and compliance with hygiene and SOPs to delight customers.

The role requires 3–6 years in retail or FMCG operations, strong data orientation, and the ability to travel regularly within the cluster. You will lead store teams, coordinate replenishment, and drive delivery metrics and cost controls.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in retail/quick-commerce/FMCG operations, ideally multi-store or cluster management.
• Experience with perishable/cold-chain inventory is a strong plus.
• Strong data orientation and proficiency with spreadsheets and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across assigned dark stores (staffing, opening/closing, hygiene, SOP compliance)
• Monitor stock levels, chiller inventory, and coordinate replenishment/redistribution across stores with HO and warehouse teams
• Track daily order projections vs. actuals; flag demand spikes or stockouts
• Ensure cold-chain integrity and food-safety compliance (especially for perishable/chicken & meat SKUs)
• Manage store-level P&L: wastage control, shrinkage, labor cost, and OOS minimization
• Lead, train, and performance-manage Store Managers/store staff across the cluster
• Coordinate new store setup, licensing, and launch readiness within the region
• Drive customer experience metrics (delivery TAT, order accuracy, complaint resolution)
• Report daily/weekly operational and stock-visibility metrics to Head Office
