Job summary

• Minimum 23 years of relevant experience in the food industry, preferably in Quality Assurance (QA).
• Strong understanding of food safety standards, quality systems, documentation, and audit process.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an effective Quality Assurance system to ensure compliance with FSSAI regulations and food safety standards.
• Monitor food quality and safety standards across the unit and drive continuous improvement.
• Implement SOPs, CAPA, and corrective actions; coordinate with all units for timely RCA, CAPA, and MRMs.
• Support internal audits and external audits to ensure regulatory and statutory compliance.
• Maintain documentation and records for GMP, hygiene, sanitation, and overall compliance.

Job description

Objectives of the Role:

To ensure compliance with FSSAI regulations and food safety standards by establishing and maintaining an effective Quality Assurance system.

Responsible for monitoring food quality, implementing SOPs, conducting internal audits, driving Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and coordinating with all units to maintain compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, and other applicable food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of FSSAI Schedule 4 and ISO 22000 requirements.
• Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety management systems.
• Knowledge of packaging material inspection and quality checks.
• Basic knowledge of instrumentation calibration and validation.
• Knowledge of SOP preparation, framing and implementation
• Coordination with units to ensure timely completion of RCA, CAPA, Action Plans, and MRM activities.
• Knowledge of conducting and supporting internal audits.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure timely closure of quality and compliance observations.
• Regular monitoring of food quality and safety standards across the unit.
