Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd. is seeking a Relationship Manager in Coimbatore to drive acquisition of current and savings accounts within the branch catchment area. The role also focuses on sourcing salary accounts from corporates and increasing wallet share across banking products.

You will activate accounts with UPI, M0 and savings balances, while leveraging internal SME relationships and participating in local induction events. A strong networking ethos and banking knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Graduation or postgraduate degree.
• Sales and networking skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Target-driven and goal oriented.
• IRDA & AMFI certification preferred and expected after joining.
• Good banking knowledge and reliability.
• Computer literacy and digital awareness.
• Strong local market network.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new accounts (Current and Savings) from the branch catchment area.
• Quality sourcing of salary accounts from corporates.
• Activate accounts: UPI linkage, M0 balance, savings balance; increase wallet share across banking products (Insurance, Mortgages, UL, SIP, MF) and manage the portfolio.
• Participate in corporate induction and migration events around the catchment area.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams to leverage SME connections.
• Conduct low-cost micro marketing activities around catchment areas for lead generation.
