Job summary

Siegwerk in India is seeking an Assistant Manager- Technology Development in Bhiwadi to lead lab analysis, development, and scale-up for ink formulations. You will drive projects aligned with customer needs and support transition from pilot to production while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 4–6 years in ink technology (R&D or application service), strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a lab environment with SAP/RD for formulations updates.

Qualifications

• Good communication, presentable, interpersonal skills and team player.
• Min. 4-6 years of comprehensive experience in defined ink technology environment (R&D, application service etc.).
• Qualification MSc (Chemistry) / BTech (Chemical/Polymer/Printing technology).
• Ability to work in lab, good analytical skills, flexible to change priorities as per requirement.

Responsibilities

• Support in lab analysis for development and improvement of intermediates and their industrialization and pilot/production level.
• Work on development projects per customer needs and support scale-up trials to implementation.
• Work in projects within defined technology solutions, applications and services per timelines, budgets and standards.
• Participate in inter-company and benchmarking projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SCM/AT/Production/QC) to improve product formulation and process performance.
• Analyze customer and internal complaints to provide corrective and preventive actions and determine root causes.
• Interact with people at all levels within and outside the department.
• Create product codes and modify formulations and QIPs with SAP/RD; ensure lab safety and housekeeping.

Your Tasks- What You can expect as Assistant Manager- Technology Development ?

• Support in the lab analysis for the development and improvement of the intermediate and their further industrialization and pilot and production level.
• Working continuously in the development projects as per customer needs and support in the scale up trials and conclude towards implementation.
• Working in the projects within defined technology solutions, applications and services according to agreed timelines, budgets and standards – monitored by senior colleague.
• Participation in various inter-company and benchmarking projects.
• Where applicable work in close co-operation with Cross functional team like SCM /AT /Production/QC to continually improve performance at product formulation and process level.
• Analysis of customer & internal complaints to provide the appropriate corrective & preventive action within time frame and also analyse route cause of complaint.
• Able to work independently and interact with people at all levels within and outside the department.
• Creation of products code and modification of formulations and QIPs with the help of SAP/RD.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping in the lab area and the plant.
