Job summary

Jones Lang Lasalle Property Consultants seeks a Facilities Soft Services and Technology Manager in Hyderabad to coordinate non-structural facility services and technology that support daily operations and occupant experience.

You will oversee cleaning, landscaping, reception, catering, building technology (access control, CCTV, AV), vendor management, and compliance with health and safety standards, reporting on performance and driving service improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in facility management with focus on soft services or technology.

Job description

The Facility Soft Services and Technology role is responsible for managing and coordinating non-structural facility services and technology systems that support day-to-day building operations and enhance occupant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Soft Services Management

• Oversee cleaning, janitorial, and waste management services to maintain facility cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Manage landscaping, grounds maintenance, and exterior aesthetics
• Coordinate pest control services and environmental health programs
• Supervise reception, concierge, and hospitality services
• Manage catering services, vending operations, and amenity spaces
• Oversee mail and courier services, including package handling and distribution

Technology Systems

• Manage building technology systems including access control, CCTV, and security platforms
• Oversee audiovisual equipment, conference room technology, and collaboration tools
• Coordinate workplace technology integrations (IoT sensors, occupancy tracking, environmental monitoring)
• Support Building Management Systems (BMS) and integrated workplace management systems (IWMS)
• Manage visitor management systems and workplace experience applications
• Coordinate technology upgrades, system migrations, and digital transformation initiatives

Vendor and Contract Management

• Select, contract, and manage soft services vendors and technology partners
• Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Conduct vendor performance reviews and implement continuous improvement programs
• Negotiate contracts and manage budgets for soft services and technology investments

Compliance and Standards

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Maintain quality standards across all soft service deliverables
• Implement and monitor infection control and hygiene protocols
• Ensure technology systems meet data security and privacy requirements

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with occupants, tenants, and building users to understand service requirements
• Respond to service requests and resolve complaints promptlyProvide regular reporting on service performance and technology utilization
• Support workplace experience initiatives and occupant satisfaction programs

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in facility management with focus on soft services or technology
• Understanding of building systems, workplace technology, and service delivery models
• Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills
• Proficiency with facility management software and workplace technology platforms

Preferred

• Professional certifications (FMP, CFM, SFP, or equivalent)
• Experience with smart building technologies and IoT applications
• Knowledge of sustainability practices and green building standards
• Project management experience
